Destination Canada Tourism-Hospitality-Culinary is an online information and job fair.
This fair is organized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Destination Canada Tourism-Hospitality-Culinary is for French-speaking and bilingual candidates with training and/or experience in hospitality, restaurants or other tourism occupations who are seeking opportunities in Canada (outside Quebec).
Participation is free but by invitation only. To participate, you need to register first and upload your bilingual CV (French-English) in Canadian format.
During the fair, you can connect online with Canadian employers and apply for the jobs posted on the website.
You will also be able to exchange with representatives from Canada’s provinces and territories and French-speaking communities. They will tell you about their regions and communities and present their services to newcomers as well as their specific immigration programs. They will also answer questions about life in French in Canada (outside Quebec).
The conferences will give you an overview of the tourism, hospitality and culinary sectors. In addition, you will find information on procedures to work in Canada, either on a temporary or a permanent basis.
Registration will be open from September 23 to October 27, 2024.
Canadian employers seeking to hire for tourism, hospitality or culinary positions outside Quebec can participate as exhibitors at Destination Canada Tourism-Hospitality-Culinary.
Representatives of provincial and territorial ministries of immigration, professional bodies and economic development and employability organizations outside Quebec can also participate.
It’s free to participate, but you need to register first. We’ll send you more details about the event after we confirm your registration.
Destination Canada Tourism-Hospitality-Culinary gives you access to a pool of qualified candidates from around the world.
Among the candidates who will be invited to participate, some will already be in Canada with a study or work permit but most will be outside Canada. They will be eligible for a facilitated work permit in the Mobilité francophone stream which allows you to hire Francophone or bilingual foreign nationals for positions outside Quebec without having to get a Labour Market Impact Assessment.
